History: Formed on 23 January 1941 at Leuchars and disbanded on 12 January 1946. Re-formed at Leuchars in October 1946 and on 1 August 1967 it was renamed St. Andrews & Dundee University Air Squadron and was subsequently disbanded into East Lowlands University Air Squadron on 1 January 1969
